In our recent webinar, we shared updates on our current projects. We also had a Q&A session with investors. Here are some highlights from the event:
Our company was founded with the goal of making a global impact on climate change. We're focused on finding green solutions to help industries reduce their impact on the climate, in particular, we help them produce heat without emitting CO2.
But why is industrial heat such a significant problem? Well, it's a major contributor to CO2 emissions, which drive rising temperatures. In fact, the amount of CO2 emitted from industrial heat sources accounts for 22% of the world's CO2 emissions. In our case, we're targeting steam and drying between 300℉ and 1000℉, which accounts for 3% of global CO2 emissions.
Traditionally, industrial heat has been generated by burning fuel, whether that's gas, coal, or wood. But this process is inefficient and leads to the release of harmful emissions. Our goal is to create clean, affordable industrial heat that is cheaper than natural gas, while also reducing our carbon footprint.
One key element of our efforts is our groundbreaking heat engine. This machine is capable of producing temperatures higher than any current heat pump technology, but without relying on fossil fuels. It can generate up to three times as much heat as resistive heating, using the same amount of electricity.
